[Mobile-Portable] Recommended In-Line Fuses?

The handful of mobile installs I've have spun out of control from what
appeared to be "simple projects" to major techical tasks! And I never ran
more than 100W from a remote mounted transceiver. Adding some QRO really
ramps up the complexity. The more you try to "do it right", the more you run
into complications of modern car/truck architecture, Ohm's Law, RFI, etc.,
etc. If you have your vehicle in for shop work, I totally agree with you
it's worth paying the shop to pull/replace panels, pull wires, etc. They do
it all the time & have the tools, hardware, and knoweldge of the
vehicles...us hams who maybe change vehicles or rigs every 4-5 years, are at
a distinct disadvantage fighting Murphy's Law. Good luck in your endeavors.
