[Mobile-Portable] Recommended In-Line Fuses?

It probably would, but calculate how many amps you are going to draw under
load first before selecting the breaker. Both fuses and breakers handle
surges pretty well. I have never had a fuse blow yet in normal use. I do
not know how that relay is designed, but probably a mechanical thermal
interrupter. I prefer large surface area, tight connections such as a
proper fuse. The fuse could also have less voltage drop across it; just my
guess.

But stuff happens, i.e., one of the RF Amplifier final transistors overheats
and shorts rather than opens.

Best regards,
