[Mobile-Portable] Best #10 Wire for Mobile Apps?

There is no mention of water ingress resistance or physical
damage resistance.  Or did I miss that?

I did read this:  "Automotive grade "GPT" PVC insulation
which is oil & gas resistant"

At well over $1.00/ft for $10. I'd expect more than black and
red-colored insulation.

APP's are also represented as a "standard" but in my experience
that was a really bad idea, at least for the 35a connectors. 
  But
