[Mobile-Portable] FORD FUEL PUMP NOISE ON HF

I had a 97 F-150. Had a constant S7 noise as soon as the fuel pump
energized. The dealership did the mod but the improvement was small. It went
down to about a S5 or so. Everything was grounded properly. I finally jacked
up the radio and put a different truck under it. Problem solved.

Does anyone know what the fuel pump mod is? I just bought a 94
F-150m but have not tried HF because the fuel pump noise on my 93
Ford Aerostar was so miserable that I gave up. Did you buy your
truck new, or could it be quiet because a previous owner had the fuel
pump filter installed. I asked the local Ford part's manager about
the mod and he had no clue as to what I was talking about, which was
very discouraging.

After hearing about tour experience, I am inspired to try again.
