         I've used Hustler antennas off and on since 1982, and I have 
more trouble hitting trees and breaking the resonator completely 
off.  Never had any problem with water getting inside.

         In that time I've lived in Louisiana, Georgia, and New 
Mexico, so I have been in the rain from time to time.
