Do you have old Master Mobile antenna? I believe the
Swan antennas were close copies of Master Mobile.

I still have my Master Mobile single band coils, remote
tuner(Master Matcher), and matching device (Micro
Z-Match) from 1962. Master Mobile stuff supposedly
had highest Q and best radiation efficiency. I know
that I bested some big Texas Bugcatcher antennas
in field strength measuring contests back in 63-65.

What is size of coil? If it's about 2.5 - 3 iinches diameter,
it's probably Master Mobile. They usually had black cap
of plastic and clear plastic cover over the coil.

If it's long, brown, and about 1.5 inch diameter it's
likely to be a Slim Jim or Webster Bandspanner.
