If it does have issues with the computer systems (other than you hearing
them) then sue them. If their engine shuts off or the throttle goes wide
open when you TX with 100W, what makes you think it won't do the same when
I'm next to you at the light, and I do it!
They put all kinds of legalese disclaimers in the manuals, but they can't
really be that sensitive, or every car on the road would go psycho when an
18 wheeler went by.

Has anyone installed an amateur transceiver of up to 100 Watts and up to 1.2
GHz in a 2005 Toyota RAV4 ? Or into a recent Toyota product?
If so any issues with RFI getting into the computer management systems?
I have an IC-706MKII along with a High Sierra HS-1800 Pro I want to install
and an Icom ID-1. The antennas will be at the rear of the vehicle.
