[Mobile-Portable] Want Mobile Amp or Scematics...

1) A Ham in Germany suggested I look at an Italian WebSite for amps...The
HLA-300 was one I looked at. Looks OK, but couldn't find the price, and
was worried about the connectors possibly being non-universal with
American stuff. Anyone know this amp and etc.?

2) Another seemingly fairly good Amp is the Metron 1000B solid state
mobile amplifier 160-10
But it used MRF-454's and they are scarce/expensive. I wonder if these old
Metrons can be refitted with a comparable but more available xistor??
Anybody have any idea?
