My experience, being somewhat limited but I got a DSP
option for the radio and if I was going to do it again
I would have went with the speaker.  

The DSP if you are listening to a really faint CW
signal amidst the noise and kick on DSP noise is
reduced but 5 out of ten times the signal is gone to. 
I have had better luck with reducing the width of
filter.

The speaker seems to be a much better choice but I
have only listened a couple of times.

Heil is one speaker seller and SGC has one also any
comments between the two?
