This is very good advice. The copper to aluminum is pretty easy to fix. Go
to your local hardware store and pick up a tube of No-Al-Ox. Smear it all
around the copper to aluminum connection, and it'll stop the disimilar
metals problem. I've had some on a connection for a couple of years now and
no problems.

If you can, I do recommend grounding the bed to the frame, as well as the
cab and the engine. On my truck, I've also done the doors, the hood and an
extra strap from the negative terminal of the battery to the chassis. My
bandwidth on 80 went from 25 khz to about 14, because of the decrease in
ground resistance. Just what supposed to happen.

Good luck on the install, the bands have been off again, on again these last
few weeks, but it's still fun.
