Hey that's another great way to skin a cat! WorldRadio (a' la the ham magazine) sells a 4 foot collapsible 20 foot fiberglass pole... but it may not bend enough to get under the overpasses...it's a tapered pole and about 1 or 1-1/4 inches at the base...good for mobile/portable, though, I am sure.
