Thanks for your reply. I have modeled many J-Pole combinations and haven't
been able to come up with a combination that would be an improvement on the
1/4 wave Marconi. The J-Pole would be too long for top of cab mounting. You
have confirmed what I have concluded about cab mounted dual band mobile
antennas.
