[Mobile-Portable] Spark plug wires and noise

Hi All
There was some talk about spark plug wires and how some types are more 
RFI proofed than others. Wondering if any one has had any luck with a 
particular brand of wires. Even stock GM
I need to get new wires as they are VERY noisy. So bad that the AM BC 
band is almost unusable This is on a stock GM radio ( 98 chevy tahoe) 
These were replaced last summer when I rebuilt the motor. I have extra 
grounding on the block in 4 places and extra hood grounding on both 
mounts. The exhaust is grounded in 2 places and the antenna mount has a 
Very heavy strap type ground to the body and the mount is on the 
underside of the bumper (bolted to the frame). I thought to add grounds 
to the rear axle assembly and the transmission transfer case as they are 
easy to get to.The whole assembly is pretty long and ungrounded at one 
end and in theory could be an antenna.
As I said I rebuilt the engine and replaced the transmission last summer 
so been through the truck pretty thoroughly.  I have had a HB 
screwdriver antenna and  a sgc tuner with a 102"whip on the mount and 
now am looking for another Screwdriver antenna like a Hi Q 3/80 or 
something like that.  My HB antenna is worn out!
Anyhow any help would be appreciated.
