[Mobile-Portable] Hello! :) and a linear loaded whip?

I have had good luck with a linearly loaded whip/ground plane. It's an old
design by K6BJ and first appeared in "Western Radio" in the 50's. Also see
W6AAQ's "mobileering" books.
