[Mobile-Portable] RFI & Bose Sound System

I have learned that having the best vehicle sound
system is not compatible with mobile ham operation. A
while back
I purchased a very nice low mileage Cadillac Seville
STS.
It already had an optional Bose sound system installed
which is great. However, the Bose system has four
amplified speakers, one in each door. After
installing an Icom 706MKIIG I quickly learned that,
even with the sound system turned off, transmitting
from the 706 would activate the amplifed speakers big
time. The work around is to pull the fuse that is
dedicated solely to the amplified speakers. So if I
want to operate the 706 I can't listen to the sound
system and vice versa.
I have a service manual for the vehicle and can tell
it would be a major unpredicatable undertaking to try
and filter each speaker.
If anyone has had this particular problem and has been
able to resolve it I would sure like comments. Thanks.
Robert
