[Mobile-Portable] New car and considering new antenna setup! Followup

I personally use an Alinco and I have the comet antenna. I bought a 
gadget from MFJ (by suggestion of a list member)which is installed on 
the cable  two feet from the antenna base, and has a selector, My 
reports are all really good, have done DX with great results..
