[Mobile-Portable] HTX-10 and speed limit light noise

Jeff,
I get a lot of power company line noise and also interference at fast food
places. Here in Virginia Beach we have
a lot of above ground power lines along the roads. The sub divisions are
mainly underground.
I keep the noise blanker on and the tone setting on low. That helps.
I installed a Radio Shack 25 amp DC filter on my feed from the battery to
the rig. That eliminated all engine and ignition noise.
I am going to recheck all of my grounds and add one to the rig to see if
that helps with my power and external noise problems.
