[Mobile-Portable] Prepping My Chevy Astro Van For Ham radio

Does it HAVE to be the oner?  Can the operator lean at 45 degrees
instead?  How would the radio know which one was the owner?  When I get
swung much more than 45 degrees, I usually fall asleep.
