[Mobile-Portable] ANTENNA COMPARISON

No question that the screwdrivers are better, but that the difference is
most obvious at the lower frequencies.  There have been several tests on
75 meter mobile, and the screwdrivers are several db better than the
standard commercial type antennas. Actually, the bigger the antenna, and
the more massive the coil, the better.  I suspect that the difference
gets pretty minor, almost unmeasurable, at 10m or 15m.
