Present the 21st Annual Tailgate Swapfest
Saturday, June 2, 2012 7 AM to 1 PM

3M CENTER in Maplewood East of St Paul on I-94, north on
McKnight Road, east on Conway Ave, south on 5th Street.

Always the first Saturday in June!

Sell right where you park!

Talk-in on the 147.120 Repeater - 6:30 - 9:30 AM
** Optional talk-in if 147.120 isn't working, use 146.850 instead.

Tickets are available the day of the show at the Swapfest entrance only. 
There are no advance ticket sales.

Buyer admission is $8 per person.
Kids under 16 get in free with a paid adult admission.

Selling space is $18 per vehicle; use as many parking spaces as you can
fill. Includes admission for one person.
Additional persons cost same as Buyers admission above.

Seller lineup starts about 6 am. Seller setup starts at 6:45AM. Buyers
enter at 7AM.

My recommendation: CAR POOL!
With GAS at $4 per gallon and most cars getting 20MPG, it costs about 20 
cents per mile of travel. A trip from St Paul to Duluth is about 250
miles round-trip, or $50 for gas. That makes attending the hamfest very
expensive unless you CAR POOL and share the expenses. Four people in a
car would be about $12 each for gas, or under $10 each for 6 people in a 
mini-van. Support our hobby and ham radio clubs! CAR POOL to area
hamfests. Talk it up on the local repeaters and at club meetings. Pool
your gas money and make new friends during the trip!
