[MNham] 147.090 repeater in Pequot Lakes OTA

Hi folks.

I just wanted to mention that the W0REA repeater is back on the air 
about 7 miles WNW of Pequot Lakes, MN on 147.090MHz using 123.0 PL tone. 
If you are in Cass or Crow Wing Counties, north of Brainerd, mobile 
within 25 miles or so of Pequot Lakes, you can probably hit the 
repeater. For a more exact location, try to find Walden Township on a 
county map....

Over the course of the year, Paul plans to make some improvements to 
make the repeater even better. The new repeater site is an improvement 
by itself, having 100' higher ground elevation and the tower being 
nearly 100' higher than before. Another intention is to link the site 
with the repeaters in Little Falls.

Standard 1200 baud packet radio (145.670MHz) and APRS WIDE digi 
(144.390MHz) will also be operational from the site, although not from 
the full tower height. Neither of these radios have proper antennas yet. 
The APRS radio is on the air but with a lousy antenna and still showing 
the old location.
