The ballots should be in the mail from the ARRL for the section manager
election. I am asking you for your support in this election.  Please
consider my qualifications for this position before you vote. 
  
My qualifications include many years as technician, electrical engineer and
manager for 3M Company before my retirement in 1998.  I now have the time
interest and ambition to do this job very well.  It is my pledge to do the
best possible job for you.
  
I owe a great deal of my personal success to amateur radio as it was a fork
in the road that lead to a great career and a lifetime of technical and
personal challenges.  This desire to be elected to the position of Section
Manager is borne out of a desire to repay to amateur radio in some measure
for my successes.
