Why not tell the transmitter offerers that 2 of your friends will come to pick it up ? Both are fitness buffs so weight should be no problem. They will pay on inspection and approval of the condition.

This reminds me, i do have a Bandmaster IIB which i have not looked at in 30 years. What's that saying ? Time to "fish or cut bait" ? I
