RE: [ARC5] RCA Victor ATR-11A info?
Jacques, thank you so much for the AT-1 / AT-7 manual. I saved everything to my computer just now, including the first 2 photos, which i rotated
and saved separately also. Your generosity will help so much ! It looks like a nice compact transmitter, altho…. i do have to wonder about a VFO
operating at 20 MHz !! Crystal control is best at those freqs.
IF you have more, i would of course like to see that. But if not already scanned, i would not ask you to scan in more.
When i had the big transmitter, which i really loved, i had a good reason to keep the AR-1 or 7. Now, i don’t know. I really messed up by that trade !
Well, “Win some, lose some”, we say. I see now it was an AT-12. A little confusing because there was a USA, Bendix made TA-12.
I have about a half dozen Japanese aircraft transceivers and at my age, i’m thinking maybe that may be enough for me, for projects. I don’t know
yet. I used to have a bunch of Werhmacht equipment also, but sold most of it. One can only do so many projects in one’s time. Maybe i have
enough projects. The Japanese radio is 100 watts CW only, made for large seaplanes. I bought the top and bottom units separately, about 20
years apart, and am so happy they both fit together.
I will look thru my files and see if there’s anything interesting to forward.
Thanks again !!!
