I had mentioned earlier that the BC221 was secured behind  the pilot seat in a B17,  well I am sticking to that as somewhere in the stacks I have a picture of it secured on its side behind his seat, and when I find it I will post it. .  But, it looks like it was stored in the radio compartment too, by just wrapping the canvas bag carry strap around a seat post.  That seems highly unlikely to me, even though I have a pic of it stored that way.  I would think it would flop all around and if it broke loose,  become a flying missile in the radio compartment.

I thought there was only one BC375 jammer tuning unit, but turns out that the TU's 6,7,8,9, and 10 units were all modified into TU's 63,64,65,66, and 60 respectively.  All contain a goniometer to sweep the spectrum of the particularTU and jam the enemies' comm.
