Remember that SHORAN rec sold by G&G, that was 400 Hz powered ? The simpleminded 160 meters conversion was to put some lamp bulb in the pwr transformer primary. That "conversion" seemed a little flakey to me. Probably most of these 'black boxes" just went to the metals cauldron.
