"Signal Corps Radio" is kind of redundant, where this terminology only exists already in the Signal Corps world. "Set, Complete, Radio" makes more sense to me, altho it would be a real chore for me to look thru my paper and try to find actual documenting proof. You know what, tho ? I do find looking thru mil electronics manuals to be a relaxing break - and i'll keep a lookout for actual citation that proves it once and forever.
