Definitely agree on BC, but I thought SCR meant Set Complete Radio. 73 – Mike

Ages ago I read it meant "Basic Component",   usually a part of "SCR____" or Signal Corp Radio.

Good heavens ! I was trying to look up any info on the BC-976 direction finding radio receiver, and i saw that 'Radionerds' says "BC" means "Boxed Component" !!! Oh ? How is such an error even possible !?

Granted, Radionerds HAS been a blessed lifesaver for me at times, providing  even a manual i had zero chance of finding on my own.
