I have 5 of these. Written in a shaky pencil on the side of each can is a number like, "14 .0" ( MHz ) and similar. What are these from ? I am guessing some ship based VHF equipment. The 2 coils are slug - adjusted, probably brass, and are not resistor loaded. Your recognition ? Or best guess ? I hate to just toss something.
