I have an ARC-2 and have never used it once. I am wondering if anyone has tightened up the IF coupling caps like could be done on the ARR-15. It is a tuff looking beast with about 1 kHz resolution and "might" be fun to use. Or maybe not. Do
not advise me to use a Q-5er with it. I will not do that. It is tuff looking but quite large and odd design. It surprises me to think that the conversion osc fundamental is the same as the CW BFO freq and is always running.
While i'm in question mode, what about the GRC-13 transceiver ? It is only xtal control but looks pretty cool. You could use a VFO into the single "crystal saver" osc but i don't think you could tune more than 50 kHz off the preset channels.
