This is a TBX but not certain of the number, just know it’s not an 8! The contract is NOs-65704 and the contract date is 16 MARCH 1939 According to the old Ludlum there is nothing going on at all above background, and that’s with the Alpha head.
Think maybe this will have to be moved up the project schedule, had TBX-6 years ago that I ran at Hamvention and couple other events but this radio is lacking a case.

I would like someone to do the same test on TBY and TBX. I understand in TBX, only the TBX-6, supposedly made for USCG, has no radium.

I have a PDR-27S, but…it needs the batt box cleaned out, and i have put that off and put it off.

Steve  Bartkowski told me the Japanese talkie Type 94-6  “buzzes like a beehive”. I tend to believe that. This dissuaded him enough to give up

on restoring one. I have one pretty much complete which i plan to sell. Also a couple TBY.

I am hoping the earlier TBX do not buzz like a beehive.
