I am sort of surprised that this receiver seems to have hit the surplus market so soon.
Did its role simply not prove out ?  No place for it ?

I mean, it has 7 pin minis, so it’s not ancient, yet it is in the ‘Surplus Schematics Handbook’ 1959.

I had one years ago, maybe should have kept it, listened to Radio Australia late at night, the

vibrator supply audibly buzzing the whole cabinet.
