I never looked close enough to discern that in  the 1625s in the TCS I used many years ago, altho j did like the purple glow that accompanied the keying.

Even more ages ago, my parents had a large Philips table radio. I would peer into back of it and could see thru the backplate openings, a miniature city, little buildings lit up at night.
