No, it was way earlier than “Radio Bygones” which at one time for which i had a subscription. BTW, have you seen what RB wants for back copies ?

The mag i referred to for the No.19 articles was, i am pretty sure, “Practical Wireless”. I have some  copies from that for WS No.19, but they are

actually pretty useless, according to actual collector mentality now. Like US surplus, in the postwar heyday, they were just fodder for hacking.
