The PP-327B is on loan for this project, the story I was told is that it was NOS and never used and is very clean. Because it appears to have never been used, I did check all the DC to ground resistances and also connected a external power supply set to 3.0 volts with current limiting to the Low voltage - filament bus. That’s the junction of L3, L4 and C7 and let that cook for a day to reform the three huge capacitors (C6, C7 and C8) and then did HV checks with an external capacitor tester, a real capacitor bridge and not some little POS digital tester and ran them up to working voltage to check C1, C2 @650 volts and C3A and B @200 volts.

Think after that it’s all ready to go. Have to say the PP-327B is uptown with its B+ regulation and clean design. Like that box way better than the stock 327

If you don’t have it download TM-11-5070/ TO-31R2-2GRC-9-21 from Radionerds
