Yes, it IS an exercise in futility. It’s a process you cannot arrest.
I once made a laminated photocopy of a label for a BC-1306. It turned out okay, and i sold the thing, but i think if i was
going to keep it, i would be unsettled, and i would look up instead some maker of label tags. They are out there. I even
saw in a “trophy shop” a couple decades ago, some label work that would make great nameplates for the blue ARC-5
tags.

IMHO, attempting to flatten these is futile.
One would be better served to carefully cut-out
some clear flat plastic, print a paper backing on
photo paper and affix it in that place. I will be trying
this and perhaps other solutions on an RAS stack.
