I didn’t know this Change page existed until this year, altho i owned BC-474’s going back to 1985.
None of the online SCR-288 manual copies seem to include this Change.
Back then, i solved the “audio oscillation” phenomenon by putting a “damper” resistor across the output transformer.
That does work, and my even be a better solution, in case you don’t have this tube shield, but here is the original
U.S. Army solution. I note the withdrawal of “RESTRICTED” status is May 1944. Was this the date of inception of the
SCR-694 ?
