I went to a very lightly attended radio and electronics auction im Portland OR last month. This re the mention of BC-794. There was a BC-779 or -794 unsold. Oddly enough, 2 ACPS for these Hammarlunds sold separately; someone else just needed those. There was an RBA  and RBC nobody looked at twice. Also an unhacked BC-342 did not sell. ( "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." ) The R-392 and R-388s DID sell.

Halli SX-146 sold but not its matching xmtr  which has a bad rep. I bought an SX-73, HRO-50, R-808. Later in the same week i came to feel like i had made a huge mistake. Even tho prices were really low, back musculature, storage space, and time are all in hard limited supply.
