I recall, somehow, the transfer to Lufthansa. Must have read about it in an aviation magazine back when.

There was a UK magazine, ‘Flypast’ ca. early 1980s that had an article on a Dutch – built seaplane, WWII era, that had a

great color photo inside, with the radio setup front and center. I wish now i had bought that magazine ! Never seen the photo

since. I think it was the  Philips ‘VR27’ radio setup ( of which i have the receiver only. ) I once offered a WW1 transmitter for

possible trade – one fellow replied and offered me the matching transmitter – “or ANYTHING…”, but i think the offer was just

to get the fish on the line.
