Ok, I picked up a Motorola R-390A receiver that’s been in storage for some time. Did not appear to have a lot of hours on it but will require a ton of cleaning. Going to go thru and check everything and try to have it ready to sell at the
Hamvention in May but ran into a problem. The connector for the balanced line input J104 has two broken pins in it, go figure? Wanted to see if anyone has an Antenna Relay assembly (K101) form a junk R-390 that I can buy? The C connector is fine but if you
know anything about the R-390A one of the first things you learn is the WHIP non-balanced input sucks and I want to have everything working properly on this when I go to put it up for sale.
Too bad it’s not a Collins because somehow although it’s basically the same receiver the Collins version sells for at least twice what the Motorola one sells for.
