We have a display of some ww 2. ECM Jammer and Countermeasures RX. always looking for more. Many of or ecm items were contributed by Morgan McMahon who used such gear on the destroyer Stephen Potter during ww2. He was author of early books on collecting radios namely Vintage Radio covering early stuff and Flick of the Switch covering 1930s and later

We got Winfield Salisbury inducted into the AOC Countermeasures Hall of Fame.

Back in early 1990s he contributed articles to smecc museum journal when we had a printed one in the pre www internet days!

He was a section head and reported directly to Fred Terman and in charge for the gaint TUBA JAMMER perhaps the largest jammer built!

WWII, then some in the 1950s Cold War. I found Volume I to be fascinating, well worth every cent. There are

stories galore from the great game and many photos. Several photos of this equipment i recognized well;

items i owned, fascinating gear, but as this type gear was just not practical for me to retain, in past years i

sold or gave it all away. The latter volumes hold the same level of detail but as less interesting to me, i have

not yet much looked at them. I am so glad there are a few people with the time and space to preserve this

less known equipment.
