“3 Miles Down, a Potential Clue to Earhart's Fate", was a very interesting article that greeted me as i processed

last Thursday, February 3 2024, edition of the New York Times. I found another article with some very nice

graphics, that you can read without password and so on, at

Advance warning, you have to surrender your email so they can mail you new articles ( that is, potential subscriber

recruitment. ) But it seems to me a pretty innocuous organization. I am sure you can immediately unsubscribe.

Consider your work, price for the article.

Article seems about as good or better than NYT. The photos are more and better.

So, maybe we shall see. Lots of dead ends so far.

OH, also, i regard the aircraft signal strength pretty much a non-clue. It was NVIS reception, not line-of-sight.
