My 24 gauge portable wires are while and blue. No stripes.
My inverted V dipole at home is 16 gauge purple. It does
get noticed.
The inverted V at home is supported in a tree and the ends
go to other trees. I affix the ends through the end
insulators with tie wraps. If the trees flex or a branch
breaks the wire does not break but slips out of the
insulator It's gone through a couple of storms with this
setup. I've had the ends slip out twice of times but no
breakage.

somehow. (No, I didn’t do that design …). Off somebody
goes to get enough wire in each of those colors in those
gauges to make up the required number of whatever. Call
up the “approved vendor”:

Could be White and black ….

there’s 2,000 to 4,000 feet of wire sitting around on
spools. Some has really weird color combinations. Much
of it looks fairly normal (except it’s not red, black,
white or green).
