I was sorting my paper and came across this
'ARMY AIR FORCES RADIO DATA and FLIGHT INFORMATION  __Army 43-4026__    1 DECEMBER 1944'
I decided i'd try to look it up at
https://www.joebaugher.com/usaf_serials/1943_1.html
and found

"4026 (321st BG) gunner blown out of tail by direct flak hit May 31, 1944.  MACR 5823. Aircraft landed safely and was repaired. (445th BS, 321st BG) lost Dec 6, 1944"

However, the heading for this series of tail numbers says
"43-3870/4104   North American B-25J-1-NC Mitchell   MSN 108-24196/108-24430"

B-25 doesn't have a tail gunner. What gives? The handwritten serial number on the cover and the publication's
Dec. 1944 date would seem to narrow its ownership to a very narrow range.
Your thoughts?
