I've got a project in mind that would use a BC-221 or similar
frequency meter for a tube-type portable transmitter-receiver station. I
turned my vintage equipment pile upside-down but could not find any
frequency meters! I know I had several... As I was searching I
started to remember giving at least one to a ham that want a calibration
standard for his vintage shack. Maybe I gave him more than one. But,
as usual, now I wish I still had one... ain't that the way it goes?
Anyone
have a BC-221 or similar that is surplus to your needs? Since I will
be building a new device inside, I'm looking for one that might have
already been molested by our ham radio forebears - I would not gut a
nice one.
Thank you.
