Hi all,

Does anyone recognize?

Thank you,

Last week we were given a portable VHF/UHF receiver and allegedly belonged to Hanslope Park (HMGCC) in the UK at some stage.
I have never seen it before and I was hoping that you might recognise it. Photograph attached.

It is portable, but is not battery powered. It can only be powered from the mains, but the highest possible voltage is 235 V/AC. Default was 110V/AC.
I’m pretty certain that the device was made in the US, as the valves and other parts are all American (not British). Haven’t found any date codes yet.
In runs from 28 to 990 MHz in three bands and supports FM, AM and SSB, with three different bandwidths: narrow, medium and wide.

Nice detail: the power inlet at the rear has been swapped for a Bulgin one, which suggest usage in the UK.
Hope it rings a bell.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,
