The Master Oscillator tuning capacitor frame is
"pot metal" and very easily fractured. You need
to pull the bottom cover and carefully check it.

Mine was crumbling, until Tom KE9RY told me
about "green" Locktite, which (carefully
and sparingly applied) seeps into the tiniest
cracks, then cures and holds the casting together.
Worked like a champ.

I just might have what you need.
