Ckt diagram is pretty basic, your MOPA with screen mod. Power tubes are RK39, which I didn’t recognize, but I learned they

are basically 807. I used to have some large 3-legged rocks, but now I’m wondering if I gave them all away.  This covers 20M

but I kinda wonder what kind of stability it offers in that neighborhood.

BTW, was recently reading an issue of the VMARS journal and it has 3 pages or so of the communications transcript between an

Australian unit and the Japanese island command, arranging for surrender. The Japanese base listed the crystals they had on

hand, and there were only something like a half dozen channels they had available, all in the 3 MHz band.
