Ok, this time I need a Motorola MC3420L 16 pin integrated circuit. This is a pulse width modulated oscillator used in the Motorola Service monitor. The one in my Motorola 2001 service monitor has died, though I had a spare but turns out not.

If no one local has one will be forced to buy from eBay!
