Hey Breck,

Since your idea is on the crazy side, I'll throw a crazy suggestion back at you.

Let the receiver follow the transmitter rather than vice-versa. 

Or maybe less crazy throw a high impedance stage on the ARR-41 to feed the signal out, like a little emitter follower.  I used that approach when I rigged one R4c to follow another for diversity reception.
